Johnny Norman, Jr.

Johnny Norman, Jr., 74, of Morganton, NC passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021. He was born on May 18, 1947 to the late John Woodrow Norman, Sr. and Clara Turner Norman. Johnny was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He was the owner of John W. Norman Construction. He worked in Saudi Arabia for six years as a building inspector. Johnny enjoyed being with his family and was a very kind and loving person.

He is survived by a sister, Carlette McKinney; brothers, Warren Norman (Susan) and Larry Norman (Linda); a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a graveside service at 12 noon, Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Johnny Ross and Rev. Homer Murdock, Jr. officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
